Street Relief features a dynamic collection of hybrid works on paper celebrating a 25-year artistic career rooted firmly in the Twin Cities community. Melding traditional linocut printmaking with digital drawings and hand-drawn marks, this series overlays familiar pop culture icons and organic forms onto a heavy, rhythmic background. Far from a mere aesthetic backdrop, this chiseled geometry explicitly represents the earth, anchoring the floating imagery with an essential sense of grounding and connection to the place. From early mentorship under New York printmaker Richard Mock to a recent co-op membership at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking and the completion of nine public murals across Minneapolis, this exhibition honors a quarter-century of creative evolution and stands as a sincere thank you to the local art community for its enduring support.
