I move between public art, linocut prints, drawings, and paintings, following whatever tool keeps up with the idea. My work thrives when these mediums exist together, each one feeding the next and allowing the work to stay in motion rather than fixed. Rooted in street art and printmaking, my approach is direct and tactile, leaving the hand visible through every cut, line, and brushstroke. I use simple language, symbols, and shifting forms to create moments that can be read in multiple ways, inviting people to pause, reflect, and feel a sense of connection in their everyday environment. After more than 20 years creating in Minneapolis, that connection to place and community continues to shape the work.
