I’m a self-taught painter, linocut printmaker, and muralist working in Minneapolis, MN.
My first time exhibiting art was at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, ND back in 2000. Since this experience I’ve showcased my work in coffee shops, art fairs, museums, and art galleries throughout the United States and abroad. My first time creating murals was in high school on local businesses in Detroit Lakes, MN over the holidays. The interaction with the community was the most exciting part of this experience and has been the driving force in continually developing my craft as a muralist. My process as a painter is to work the ideas out in a sketchbook and then transfer those ideas into relief prints. I’ve been incorporating linocut printing into my work for the past twenty years. The artwork I’m creating today is inspired by my
love of urban exploration.
